If you combined the thermostat and fan tuning, you will have lower overall temps.
Just a FYI about fan settings. My L99 low fan is programmed from the factory to come on at 221 and off at 210 degrees. Hi fan comes on at 228 degrees and off at 217 per EFILive. The A/C will also turn on the fans usually quicker with high hi-side pressures a lot of the time. A 160 thermostat should have the temp settings reprogrammed to work correctly.
