No, the RS has DRLs (as you mentioned) and they are only one in the day, when the headlights are off. When the headlights turn on, then the DRLs go off.
Now, there's a Very easy DIY thread to have the DRLs on all the time: without the headlights during the day, and with the headlights at night. You could even mount a switch to turn them on at night. I just did the DIY and now my DRLs are always on
