Coachbuilder Contrives a Camaro Roadster for SEMA
Baldwin-Motion, the legendary builder of high-performance Chevrolets, rolls into this year’s SEMA show with its most extreme take on the ’69 Camaro as a follow-up to last year’s General Motors Design Award winning SuperCoupe.
The Camaro SuperSpeedster features a 540-cubic-inch aluminum big block, full tube chassis, four-wheel independent suspension, custom handcrafted two-seater interior and power hood and tonneau.
Like all of Baldwin-Motion’s Super Series Camaros, the SuperSpeedster began with an original 1969 Camaro donor, which was then transformed into an updated pavement pounder. Original Chevrolet VIN numbers are retained to make registering and insuring its customized Camaros simple.
