It is definitely firmer than the 2010. Personally, I like that, and I would think most everyone in the target group for the 1LE would as well. The ride motion is better controlled. I guess I was expecting it to be harsh, very hard, but it isn't. At the same time, there is next to no lean in hard cornering. Not sure how they achieved this, but it works.
