Thumbs up DPT (eBay) headers for LS3 Camaro

Hey guys,
when I went to buy these, dynamic performance team (or DPT) long tube headers, I found not a single review for them.

So now after I bought them, I figured I would do the world a favor and give my opinon on them.

First of, is price.

Its low.

Which is why I was tempted to buy them at all, and also why I was scared to buy them.

Of course, these are no ARH headers, you can see scuff marks on the tubes from being bent, and the welds...well, they work, but are not pretty to look at.
My biggest beef is where the tubes and the flang that you bolt up to the block, the welds there where uneven, and some where pretty high, I think.

Not the end of the world, a little grinding and they where just fine.

These headers also do not have cats, and have no provison to drop them in.
If you want cats on them, you will have to do some cutting.

There is also only two O2 sensors on them, so tuning is a must if you dont want a check engine light on.

They will also need O2 extensions, of course.
A little detail I overlooked.

The gaskets and bolts that come with them, are utterly worthless.

I had mine installed (for 650 dollars!!!!!!! ) at minute muffler, and they used there own bolts, and GM gaskets.

So far, they work just dandy, sound like a racecar, and smell like one too.

My thoughts are, if you don't need cats, buy them.
If you do, buy OBX headers.

And to the header snobs, I dont care if $1500 dollar headers would have been a bit better quality, I don't care, I just want them to work.

Hope this is helpful to some of you!
