Hi gang, it's been a while, but the car is going to the next stage:
- FAST 102 Intake Manifold.
- 102mm Throttle Body.
- Ported heads with 72cc chambers, should bring the compression ratio down to about 9.5.
- Aeromotive fuel voltage regulator (to see if it helps the fuel boiling/cavitation problem).
With the increased intake air volume and a little more boost (because of the lower compression), we are shooting for an even 700 RWHP. Remember, the CR is lowered, but the internals are not forged, so we're not going to go crazy on the boost.
My goal is what I call a "10.5 Summer Car", IOW, a car that can run a 10.5 ET in the dead of summer.
I expect to be at the East Coast Shootout in Darlington on April 20th!
