One advantage to installing the MSD unit under the rear seat is that you can leave the USB cord permanently plugged in to the MSD unit coiled up and stored under the trim at the front of the back seat. It will then reach the center console where you can change programming and view the data in live time. The MSD software will not record and save the data in a log form but it will display the voltages and boost in live time as you are driving. I exposed the cord a bit for your viewing.
