Torque management is a program in the ecm designed to reduce power to help ensure the longevity of the drivetrain. Basically, it pulls timing under 3500rpms to reduce torque and a lot of fun to go with it. A 6.2L should have more down low grunt then these cars have and removing torque management changes that quite a bit.
