I think the thing everyone should realize is that this is a global recession. You cant expect to think that the US can only depend on itself to get passed this recession. Everything is connected. If things dont get better everywhere its not going to get better period. The US is so gung ho on protectionism, that their blindness is going to worsen this recession by causing trade wars. And with US importing a majority of its goods I dont think they can afford to do such a stupid mistake. We(the world) have to work together on this to get passed this or this is going to be the "greatest depression"
