Stock SS tips are 4" and need to be cut back almost to nothing long to accomodate the GFX. The "for cars with GFX" notation means no tips so that they do not have to be cut back. They also sometimes change the mandrel bend on aftermarket exhaust a bit to provide clearance. Hope that helps
