Sorry be on vacation. They replaced the struts. The car still makes the clattering sound on rough roads, but I have noticed a difference in the tone and volume of the noises. It seems less noticeable? I am not completely satisfied with the repair. The service writer said they still heard it also.
I did not ask to drive one of the LS Camaro’s they have on the lot, to see if they have the same noise, but I will do with some time in next few days. The weather was really bad that day. Jupiter is keeping ticket open.
I am not sure the issue is the strut. I am going to drive it for a few weeks then see if anything changes. I may take it to in independent mechanic that can look over the suspension and supports.
Anyone know someone in the DFW area that qualified to do this kind of inspection?
