OEM paint is a baked finish so you can use paint solvent or laquer thinner "sparingly" on a rag to remove the goo. I recommend doing it in the shade or the garage. Wipe with wet rag and dry with fresh one. After the goo is removed use any light cutting buffing compound by hand to polish the haze off, then apply a coat of wax. I use solvent on OEM finishes to remove paint overspray at work and used sparingly it will not harm the paint.
