Yes, It's all about the conditions you run the car in and the tune!!! I've seen guys running the dog sh.. our of their cars on 91 octane in over 100 degree heat and blow the motor and say - what did I do wrong? Really???
Just be smart about it - I think the best and most overlooked factor is the fuel - if your going to run hard, run a higher octane fuel. But you need to have the right tune to go with it...
