Gees, I would never go to another track where you could not drive around the water box. I went to Jackson TN's 1/8 mile track where it was the same and it was a waste of time and money. I will never do that again.

You didn't say whether your NT05s are the "R" drag radials or street tires. In either case, you are going to have to do a burn out to dry the tires...no question. Or, leave traction control on. In either case, you will not get a decent idea what your car will run if you have to drive with wet tires.
