This is the final paper I have to write for college. It is due tomorrow. If anyone has any edits, feel free to present them. I was presented a long list of revolutions, rebellions, protests, and riots from which I chose this rebellion. While it is called a revolution, political scientists only call successful rebellions revolutions. If it is put down, then it is called a rebellion. This one began as a series of protests (strikes) and became much more substantial. Had this rebellion never occurred, the Bolsheviks would never have gotten control of soviets that would lead to Lenin, Stalin, and a variety of world events that would follow. This is the most important failure in recent history. Had it succeeded, we can only deduce that Russia would have been democratic or communism would have taken a different course in the years to follow.
