It wasn't that bad on mine unless you drove in full auto and lugged it around Sunday driving. It's just annoying to have that power delay. That was my main reason for switching. The J pipes are the easiest way of dealing with most drone, but the looks of them turn me off. Some of the 350z crowd use a similar canister-style deal hanging off the rear pipes, and they still look so out of place.
Granted, on the Camaro they aren't too visible, but I still couldn't do it.
The tune is so worth it for so many other reasons too.
