I did the same thing. I had a 2006 Impala I bought new and kept it to use as a beater. After replacing
the Impala's Tie rods, Transmission, tires, etc it just didn't make any financial sense not to just drive the
Camaro winters. Also, after 7+ years there's NO rust showing on my SS. At that rate I'll be about 140 by
the time it needs any rust repair. LOL. Drive and enjoy imo.
