I know a salesman that would buy full size front-drive Buicks (80s vintage) with about a 100k on them, then drive them upwards of 300k, then finally sell. His point was instead of buying new, get one with 100k fairly cheap, then add another 200k of miles. I thought that was smart thinking. That 3800 V6 engine is bulletproof.
