My 2010, 5000 miles, started doing this a few weeks back. I started running the A/C on fresh air from outside the last few miles of each trip and the smell went away. Using the outside air coming rather than recirculate somehow prevents water build - up which eventually will get moldy and smelly.
I go another step and turn the a/c completely off the last 2 min or so of the trip and let fresh air come in. I'd try this before I went to the Dealership!
