I put Royal Purple Break-in oil in my car at 278 miles. It says to run it for the required break in period (1,500 per manual) but NO longer than 2,500. After the 1,500, I will be keep using Royal Purple. They say you should not use the regular Royal Purple until after the engine is broke in. It's good for 12,000 or should be changed annually. I have the V6, so I am not required to buy stock in Mobil 1.

I am sure it's really all pretty much the same stuff. I wouldn't use conventional, but would go for any kind of synthetic. I am sure it's all good.
