Done deal. If I'd known what to do inside that inner boot (heads up V6 guys) I wouldn't have taken it off, it was a bitch to get back together. 2 screwdrivers down the boot behind the shifter and pry apart while someone below is jiggling and wiggling the shifter. Save yourself some frustration! Now that it's in and running awesome I LOVE MY NEW HURST SHIFTER!
