Stay in Billings coming back too? Not sure if some folks wouldn't want to drive straight through coming home. No firm plans yet but does the above sound do-able?
I went ahead and booked rooms at the "Palace Express" in Lead SD which is about 16 miles outside Sturgis. They only have 7 rooms left and a few other hotels I checked were sold out. If you are thinking about doing this and staying in a hotel, better book soon.
