Ok...let me explain this.

BMW, Porsche, Audi, etc are built to EuroSpec, lets call them "A". Camaro, Mustang and Challenger are built to USSpec, lets call them "B". Under American guidelines group A either meets or exceeds the requirements placed upon cars in group B, thus are able to be sold equally in the United States and Europe.

B meets the requirement for the United States, but lacks features needed to meet the EuroSpec. Therefore, B cars need to be retrofitted with features found standard on A cars.

Simple math, A equals B's conditions, but B does not equal A's.

But that doesnt contribute to the hysteria of the thread. The government is coming and taking all your 2010's and early 2011's and crushing them, giving you a EuroSpec car, kicking your dog, sleeping with your wife and stealing your cookies.

You may now panic, you heard it on the Interwebz, it must be true. No need for logic.
