Yes, unscrew the bottom half of the can. It has machined threads with an o-ring to seal - easy to undo. For the idler pulley, there is no play with the 2 bolts so u just tighten 'em up. The spring tensioner on the idler assembly takes out the right amount of slack on the belt. My biggest problem was figuring out how to undo the connectors on the wiring, etc harnesses.
