Still waiting to get the receipt in the mail from the dealer.
Yes the LS3 has hydraulic lifters, and the dealer called them "lifter springs" which confused the shit out of me because I know for sure the only springs in there are valve springs. I've also never heard of a valve spring collapsing, breaking yes but not collapsing. Lifters however do collapse and I've heard of that.
So I am interested to see which one (or both) actually broke and once the receipt shows up I will let you know.
