As an aside, I read somewhere that if your car isn't black, red, white, silver or gray, you don't get as much trade-in because any other color is that much harder to sell.

All depends on the person. I've own alot of yellow cars and never had trouble selling them. The only other color I would get in a camaro is white. Just me. I think if ralley yellow didn't sell gm would have killed it along time ago. Color has nothing to do with why he can't get what he wants for the car. The car is too new to sell with out taking a loss. unless he finds somebody that is hell bent on it.
