New member here in the Metro Detroit area looking at ordering a new Camaro. I get the GM employee discount and was quoted the gmfamilyfirst.com price from a few dealers. I asked at my local dealer if they could beat this price, and he immediately went on a tirade about how that would be "committing fraud" and how the idea was that the price was set so you could just go to your local dealer. This makes sense, but the idea that the dealer can't control their own price doesn't, so I was wondering if this is true.
Since I don't have military discount or a GM Credit Card, is there basically no other discount available to me in combination with the employee discount?
