Yep, you are good to go and should have no worries. You would literally have to drive in 2+ feet of water to run any risk of hurting anything. Injen offers their hydrosheild because their intake system actually positions the filter down in the wheel well area and there is a greater chance of getting the filter wet. Their dry flow filter's do not like to flow when they get wet either.
