I doubt there will be any such issues with Z/28. CF brakes, advanced aero', NA LS7, and all the supporting cooling systems; it imagine it will do quite well.
He said GM is wrong by saying its a street legal race car because the LS7 is too big, the brakes are too big, the wheels and tires are too big and stuff like that makes it not legal for any race class. The thing he may be missing is GM was hinting at a manufacturers race series and if that materializes, the Z/28 would probably be legal.

I'm not familiar with the race rules so be may right.
