Thank you for the feedback. Totally agree with the fact that you should build the car out they way you want it and enjoy it. Who cares about a few peoples opinions.. Never know what their motivation is for that opinion. My main question is around the resale value say 15-20 years down the road. Of course I do not plan to sell the car but things in life can change... When I bought a 69 Vette 427/ AC about 15 years ago I made sure everything for the most part was numbers matching. When I sold it a few years back to make room for the 68 Camaro, the car had increased in value very nicely and was easy to sell. I love some of the exhausts and engine upgrades that are available now. I do believe the quality in most cases is better than from the manufacture. I would hate to make an upgrade to something only to find out 15 years from now I should have left things alone...
