Europe likes to discourage driving with high gas prices, no parking and excellent public transportation.
Yes, gas is high but Europeans also drive a lot of little diesel micro-cars that get 50-60 mpg.
We don't get diesel cars..VW/MBZ/BMW are exceptions.
