Only time I saw heat soak (Car was running on the hot side but not boiling over) was in stop-n-go traffic (Accident had happened) and the only issue was..... The AC was blowing warm air, but went cold as soon as I got good air flow through the nose and the car cooled off also. No issues since that one hot day..... However, I haven't been caught in traffic behind an accident in a while either.
