ill tell you what, at 3000 miles ill be changing all of my fluids, including my oil (first changed at 1400), diff, and tranny fluids. i think it would be a little more cost effective to do it yourself, but there will always be some break-in debris when mechanical parts are wearing on each other. nothing wrong with a little preventative maintenance when you are spending a lot on a car in the first place.
