Ya but Ive seen many blower motors go boom. Let's just say Ur current motor is worth 6 grand new. Which is a low ball number. Then u put 7-9 grand in it supercharging it. Then it goes boom and with a current sunk cost of 13ish then 6 or so more to even get it running back to stock by replacing the motor. I'm currently in the same boat as u with my 69. I love the looks of a blower motor. But the motors not designed to function with that on it. So ya it may be cheaper in the short run then a built motor but maybe not down the road
