I picked up some 5/8" x 1/2" chrome stainless capscrews from my local True Value Hardware Store and drilled the factory engine cover rivet holes out and inserted these little jewels to give the cover a bit more reality. I used chrome stainless nylock nuts to hold the capscrews in place. About $33.00 my cost here in So Cal.... probably $5.00 elsewhere!

This is a pretty straight forward DIY project so I will not go into detailed explanation. However I will say that if you do try this project it is a good idea to put masking tape or painters tape over the area you are drilling to protect the surrounding plastic and drill a pilot hole first so there is less chance of drill bit drift with the larger size. I like this little modification and have seen no others like this.
