It really just depends on how similar the V6 and V8 exhausts are? I believe the V6 version is 2.5" piping, but isn't their SS version 3"? I know the V6 version has a resonator which the V8 version may not have. Also the V6 version has "J" pipes which help to dramatically reduce drone.
If it isn't similar to the V6 version, and is more straight through with less resonators it could end up sounding thin and raspy.

It's the same 2.5", and without the j-pipes that's the last thing I would want it sounding thin and raspy. Well, I sold the ss catback yesterday...I'm gonna get the MRT v2.0, all I've read are great things about it, and the sound clips were pretty good too (as good as sound clips can be
