It looks like a notch would need cut in the air box for the tube to clear the box. Our intake does contact the hood, so it would intefere with the tube. We have done a similar type of notch by using a hole saw to drill the box then cutting straight up to form a "U" shaped notch. This method gives a clean finished look while maintaining a decent fit.
As far as the hood seal, it's a little close to tell if it would need cut or not. The tube may run low enough that the hood seal would remain one piece.
