One thing I've noticed is some folks are hoping to get more of a rumble/muscle car sound out of the V6... I mean that's what the car looks like... the problem is you just physically can't get that V8 rumble out of a V6... but what you can do is get a good performance sound... thing is it will be a V6 sound.. not an 8... The key is not to get the fart can sound!

Went through the exercise with my V6 Stang... the stock muffler was incredibly quiet and RESTRICTIVE! Got close to a 17RWHP by swapping out the stock muffler for an AeroTurbine... Sounded good but know one would mistake it for a V8:

Did the cat delete...sounded AWESOME at start up and idle.. but get on that gas and hit 3000 RPM is sounded HORRIBLE!!! Like embarrassed to drive horrible!! So went back to a chambered muffler and resonator... was a bit better...

So the key will be to find a good balance of idle and cruising sound vs WOT sound... because it's very easy for a V6 to get incredibly RASPY (sounds like crap!)..
