Not always true. I saw a suspension assy with a 6/06/11 date at Oshawa that was being mated up to the unibody on Friday 6/10. Best to use the workbench order or your VIN# for an exact build date.
My car was actually built over two days: 8/3 AND 8/4/09 and my suspension sticker is dated 8/3/09.
