Review the Hurst install video....several times...

Try taking the rod clips off by hand if you can...so they don't go flying...

Remove the heat shield (two 10mm nuts) and slide it back out of the way...(for when those clips do go flying (lol)...or you drop something else..

Make sure the flange holes in the housing line up correctly...put them in a few turns by hand first, make sure they don't bind...

Might want to put on the noise reduction tape while you got it apart...some get rattles, some don't...rattle, even slight, bothers some, other it doesn't..
