I know it's frustrating, but don't get too worked up over it, it's repairable. By the way it doesn't matter how much anyone pays for a car, there's always possibilities of defect in material.
Look at the long leading manufacturer, in quality, Toyota/Lexus (
sorry had to wash my mouth out), even their not immune from problems.
Keep us posted on the customer service and the repairs, of course.
