I was stationed @Pendleton in 1973 after a tour inNam w/ 1/1Marines(1970) and aquick float from Cp Lejune &then back to Oceanside. had aYellow/Black Nova SS w/cragars at the time. Base wouldn't let u have any modified exhaust so i ran headers w/ vette factory mufflers, But i always got suspisious looks by the gate MP's.
