Well pull it out and it will pop right off! Our engines don't need the breather cap. It was a bunch of bull Tracy from the former RX company started saying people needed. It ended up causing more problems that anything. Some even had their dip stick fly off because of all the unwanted pressure.

Do you have your stock cap? I've heard it was only necessary on high hp applications but I really doubt that it would help at all no matter the power range...
