Drive both and see if it is worth the difference. I went from a C5 Corvette into my 2LT 2011 Camaro and am fine with my choice. You might want the extra horsepower of the V8. The fuel mileage isn't that different but I am sure the extra umphhhh is. Just get what you can be happy with for most of the term of your payments and or the factory warranty.
