Some say it won't, but I painted the calipers red on my sentra and they lasted at least 3 years until I sold it. I think I used break caliper paint. I do know that I brushed it on by spraying the paint into the cap and using a brush. I also did several coats over a day, just left the car on jackstands and put a coat on Avery hour or so.
