The story begins here with my first CRT ZL1 Camaro

I was finally able to capture one of my dream cars which of course is a '13 ZL1 Camaro. It broke my heart to trade in my beloved Bumblebee but it was time to move on to bigger and better.

Footage I took of when they rolled out my Z from the showroom floor.

List of current mods:

Expertly tuned by JRE
Defenderworx ZL1 shifter - Roto-fab CAI
D3 Engineering water reservoir - Morsoso oil catch can
AAC Afterburner tail lights - Ron Davis heat exchanger - front lighted bow tie
ATI Super Damper w/ 10% OD pulley - Roto-fab WW relocation tank - Roto-fab Big Gulp
Polished black ZL1 emblems - 3D fenders vents - XPel paint protection - VMAX throttle body

So here's my stock ZL1. I plan on doing some mods but they will be mainly in the cosmetic department. I want to keep the factory warranty as long as possible.

Installation of my Defenderworx shifter. (the factory one was too boring for my tastes.)

Some before and after shots of gill stickers. (They turned out pretty good.)

Roto-Fab CAI, Moroso oil catch can and D3 Engineering water reservoir installed.

Windows tinted, blacked out with 5% tint.

XPel clear shield protection added 4/6/13. Here's the areas of protection:

Complete front bumper
Headlights and DRLs
Side mirrors
Entire CF section of hood
Both side rocker panel areas including behind rear tires
Both rear quarter gill areas that are very prone to damage

Here's the plotter that's cutting all the many pieces that's used on the car.

I especially wanted to get the ECF part of the hood protected.

And here's the final product which cannot be seen. This of course is a great thing!

The addition of the Ron Davis/ADM Performance heat exchanger

Addition of the 3D fender vents. First couple pics are the removal of the Camaro lettering.

Masked off ready for some sheet metal slicing.

Hole cut. Ready for some Plastidip to darken the red.

Some pics of the finished product. I like it.

Polished black emblems from emblempros.com and lighted front bow tie from camarocustoms.com
