Nope....it is designed to fight off manifold heat soak...which the 2012 shouldn't have too much issue with since the intake is of a different material than the 2010s and 2011s.

That said, it is possible that a thicker spacer could be good for more torque in the lower rpm ranges...but hasn't be done on an LFX yet.
