Sorry for the off-topic, but just the official announcement will come on Monday. The actual end of Pontiac likely won't come for some time, maybe even years. These things don't just happen immediately. Also, forever may not be entirely correct either. It isn't common, but it also isn't entirely unheard of for a long-dead brand to be resurrected. Some of the European brands have done that. Who knows, maybe years down the line, under certain market conditions GM (or whatever the entity is at that point...) might want to develop a line of performance oriented cars and they can resurrect the Pontiac name, assuming they keep the rights to it. Or the rights to the brand could be sold and that entity could resurrect it. Who knows?
