GM Performance Part's all new LS9 Supercharger Package has been spotted! The leaked digital image below shows the new LS9 Supercharger Package, which can be installed on all LS engines with LS3 heads, including the motor in the Camaro SS. The LS9 Supercharger Package is powered by a Roots style supercharger and comes with upgraded intercooler kit, and gasket set.
The kit is not yet officially announced and is not yet on the GMP website, but
LSXTV reports that the
part # is 19244103 and is a live (orderable) part.
According to
LSXTV, the LS9 Supercharger Package is already in stock and should be officially announced within the week. Expect no less than 650hp's with this kit, if combined with the correct drive system and LS9 internals.
* For L99 Camaro owners - this may be installed on your motors since the LS3 and L99 motors share the same heads. All you have to do is delete AFM and VVT (basically an LS3 conversion).
Pricing has been quoted at $7,500.
