I'm not saying to quit looking right here, but I second the Comp Cams 268 Series for a stock application... I had a bone stock Nova with an anemic 305... Decided to start with the cam... Wow, relatively speaking it really woke the car up... Following that, I put a four barrel intake, spread bore holley with vacumn secondaries, headers and full dual exhaust and had a nice lope with plenty of power. Ported the heads and wow... what a difference it all made... It wasn't a 350 but it had plenty of power at the time... Best running 305 I ever drove...
